DB Navigator App Reviews

Its the best app for travelling all over the Europe. Nevertheless, support of Apples Passbook app is required (together with DB Ticket app for previous versions of iOS). I hope, that it will be added with next update to support iOS 6 and iPhone 5. Thank you in advance!

Thanks but please, fix app crash. Its happen after click to travellers and options if system language isnt English or Dutch. For workaround need choose app language English or Dutch in the settings of application.

New design is horrible. App is very slow on iPhone 5.

The information provided is useful, but the app is super slow. One has to press every button several times to get a response ( its much easier to use the mobile web page of db

I bought a DBahn ticket in Russia. When I came in Germany time and date in DBahn ticket (My bookings) was incorrect. Check please!

It gives the timetables, which is great, but its completely impossible to have the prices tho they said it should be (also mobile ticketing is completely a fake).

Today is the year 2015: it should work in English too!!!!!!!!!!!!

After last two updates it keeps on always crashing at startup.

It works fine but without the compatibility with Apple Wallet is kind of useless.

I recently had to update my password, Alas I found it to be quite hard to change password in the app itself. Also there are no warnings that the password is not correct - the app simply bans the customer from accessing its dearly purchased tickets. This is a VERY customer unfriendly design. Do you really need the money earned this way? Is the Deutsche Bundesbahn really that broke?

You have acknowledged that problem back in 2012 on multiple forums, why is it still not fixed? Also, if the user name is taken, dont just dump everything that has been written and say " try again" afterwards!

The big plus: this app has access to train schedules all over Europe. The minuses, and there are many, all have to do with actually buying the tickets. Lots of little glitches. And, should there be a problem (such as the bank approval page not showing), it makes you go back to point 0. It literally took me two hours to work through buying one set of tickets in Germany-- I should have just gone to the station

Got to the station too early so details for my train were not displayed. Opened the app to double check that I was in the right place and panicked because the app was displaying totally wrong times for my itinerary. So then I tried to check if my train was delayed and it said my train could not be found. Yet my train is displayed with the correct time on the real time schedule. Really useless of an app if I cannot get the information that I need

Twice, Ive been at the platform unable to buy a ticket via the DB Navigator app. Had to make the decision to "schwarzfahren" and keep trying to purchase--unsuccessfully. €60 fine charged. Useless error messages such as "Tarif steht nicht zur Verfügung" (Tariff not available) keep my confidence in this app low. DB. You can do better.

Had DB rail pass so we made several ad hoc trips. The app was essential for making last minute plans. App informed us of connections, which station platforms to meet connections, how far to walk to make connections, etc. For us the App was essential. We can speak a little German, but the App allowed us to navigate the German train/bus system with little to no challenges.

After one year using it, now it starts asking me username password each time I buy a ticket. Although I saved my info on portal. It started after the update. Also 3 minutes rule is stupid, I arrive at platform and the train is coming, I want to buy a ticket and get in, but no, it is too late, you have to buy it at least 3 minutes before!!!

I have 5 work colleagues who routinely travel and use this app. Each of us is having problems with the latest version of the app not processing our VISA cards. This version just is not working!

The latest update no longer allows payments by Visa, which is very frustrating. You go all the way through the payment screens, and there are many many payment screens, and on the very last screen it says the payment failed. This glaring error needs to be fixed immediately!!
